BIM. Technologies welcome Information Manager Anthony Harte

In August we welcomed Anthony Harte to the team as an Information Manager.

With over 18 years’ experience in Retail Architecture, Anthony has a thorough understanding of the industry. Anthony began his digital journey in 2008 when he was part of the team who developed ASDA’s new store prototype design information from 2DCAD to 3D BIM approach.

In 2009 as Lead Consultant and Coordinator, Anthony worked on ASDA’s first new build stores using a collaborative BIM approach. Subsequent to then he has worked on a number of retail outlets for them as well as working with Asda he has worked with a number of other retailers including Morrisons, Co-op Food and large distribution and home shopping fulfilment centres. On last count, Anthony’s portfolio of work has accounted for over one million square feet of digitally designed space!

Anthony’s interest in digital construction is driven by his passion to improve processes and data accuracy across the industry.

Life outside of working for BIM. Technologies is also very digitally orientated, he competitively pilots and races drones in his spare time, competing with many other FPV (first-person view) pilots around the country.

On joining the BIM technologies team Anthony commented,

“BIM. Technologies are always striving to be one step ahead, pushing the boundaries of technology and that’s what attracted me to join the team.”

“Digital Construction is here to stay and with a company like BIM. Technologies you can be sure your role will be stretching the boundaries of innovation whilst working with people who are fantastically enthusiastic and passionate individuals.”

Digital construction is continually evolving, and a passion for innovation such as Anthony’s will help BIM Technologies continue to be a leading Digital Construction Specialist in the UK.
