This development, stretching from 55 to 65 North Wharf Road in Paddington, London, sits directly opposite the Northern entrance of the famous Paddington Station. Derwent London acquired vacant possession of the site from mid-2015, and plan to construct two new state-of-the-art projects: one a 16-storey office block over 240,000 square feet in size; and the other a 100-unit residential area of some 73,000 square feet.

The residential block will be furnished with timber cladding and features two ground floor retail units. Residents will have access to parking for 54 cars and rinks for 346 bicycles.

The neighbouring office building follows a diagrid design (as glimpsed in the attached images) that allows for column-free floorplates. It is designed by Fletcher Priest Architects.

Drawing on the cutting edge of environmental design and technology, Derwent are striving for a striking, sustainable newcomer to London’s urban sprawl.

BIM.Technologies were appointed by Derwent as Information Managers and BIM Coordinators from Stage C.
