BIM.Technologies have been working alongside main contractor Bowmer and Kirkland since 2015 to help develop the Waterside Campus for Northampton University. Setting out the strategy for the whole site, BIM.Technologies have worked with each of the design and sub-contractor teams to ensure a coordinated design throughout, also reviewing the master plan as a whole to ensure a coordinated approach.

The project will include the construction of a 20,000sqm Learning Hub, a 2,500sqm Sports Hub and the refurbishment of a Grade II listed engine shed for a Students’ Union building, all designed by MCW architects.

The new campus – based in the Northampton Waterside Enterprise Zone – will deliver the University’s aspiration to be an internationally facing University committed to delivering outstanding life-changing opportunities in education. The University offers ground-breaking areas of study, underpinned by a culture of entrepreneurship, purposeful research and social enterprise recognised around the world for its originality and impact.
