Berners Street - London

Berners Street, Central London is a 105,000 sq. ft mixed-use new development. The proposed scheme, designed by Piercy & Co Architects, includes 20,000 sq. ft of A1/A3 retail use on the ground and lower ground floors and 85,000 sq. ft of offices on the first to seventh floors with two floors benefitting from generous roof terraces.

As part of an on-going relationship with Derwent London, BIM.Technologies have been appointed to act as Information Manager reducing risk through design and construction phase by having regular BIM review meetings and coordination workshops with both design team and subcontractors. Coordination workshops are also being used to drive project efficiencies through its use as a construction sequencing (4D) tool. Handover of electronic asset data for use with existing CAFM systems will be provided through COBie data exchanges.
