Mixed-use

Dublin Central

Location
Dublin

Dublin Central is a significant redevelopment initiative in Ireland aimed at transforming a key area of Dublin 1. With site frontage stretching across Upper O'Connell Street, Parnell Street, Moore Street and Henry Street, the development occupies a position of major cultural, historical and urban significance.
The scheme will deliver a high-quality, mixed-use destination incorporating new workspace, residential apartments, hotel accommodation, restaurants, and retail offerings. At its core, the development is designed to revitalise the urban fabric of this central district, with new pedestrian links, public spaces and civic connections enhancing permeability and accessibility across the site.

BIM Technologies has been appointed to provide digital strategy and coordination services, supporting the client and design team from early design through to delivery. Given the complexity and scale of the scheme, our role includes the development of a comprehensive digital framework to guide the project's information management, ensure consistent standards across multiple plots, and maintain the integrity of data throughout the project lifecycle.

Our involvement includes model coordination and clash detection across various phases, as well as aligning the project team with clear protocols and workflows for information delivery. With a diverse stakeholder group and ambitious programme, BIM Technologies is working closely with consultants and contractors to streamline communication, reduce risk and support efficient decision-making through high-quality digital information.

This major urban development of Dublin Central is a bold and sensitive regeneration of one of the city's most historically layered areas. The project unites the city's past and future, and BIM Technologies is pleased to contribute through effective digital design and coordination expertise.
