The site of The Marshall Building sits on the ‘shoreline’ of Lincoln’s Inn Gardens to the North, forming part of the intricate grain of city to the South. Walking through these various worlds, we searched for clues as to how to make an intervention on the edge of this important public space. Continuing a fantastic working relationship with Grafton Architects, BIM.Technologies services were procured to assist with delivering the London School of Economics aspirations in relation to BIM on the new Paul Marshall building on 44 Lincoln Inn Fields.

BIM.Technologies worked closely with the design team and client to define and agree on a suitable BIM Strategy for the project, producing the Employers Information Requirements, and subsequently, responding to these as a collaboration with the design team to form the BIM Execution Plan. Throughout workstages 3 & 4 BIM.Technologies have worked closely with the design team to ensure a coordinated and buildable design, aiding the tendering contractors to price and accurately submit a tender for the project.

BIM.Technologies have also undertaken many audits, against the requirements set out in the BIM Execution Plan to ensure alignment and consistency of approach between the design teams, looking at both geometric and non-geometric entries.
